What we believe, in four sentences
Findings beat theory. A report that describes the regulations back to you has failed, however elegantly it is typeset.
Independence is a process, not a paragraph. A conflict check run and recorded before every engagement; an independence statement inside every report; never reviewing a firm we have advised.
Technology should be inspectable. Our tooling does the first pass because it makes a twenty-file review take days rather than weeks. Every observation it produces carries the rule, the evidence pointer, a confidence rating and a human decision — including the ones a human overruled.
You should be able to leave. Nothing we deliver is locked in a portal only we can read. It is your document, in your format, on your file.
What we will not do
- We will not certify you. ISO/IEC 42001 certification is issued by a UKAS-accredited body that must be independent of the consultant who prepared you (ISO/IEC 17021-1). We prepare; they certify; we do not sit in the audit.
- We will not give legal advice. We are not a law firm and none of this is a reserved legal activity. Where something needs a solicitor we say so and step back.
- We will not take vendor money. No referral fees, no reseller margin, no sponsorship — including on hardware and models, where taking a percentage is the industry norm. The tools index publishes its own independence policy for the same reason.
- We will not invent findings. If the review finds nothing, the report says so, and we have never padded a fee with a manufactured problem.
- We will not sell you a programme you do not need. Plenty of firms should buy the policy pack and stop. We would rather say that and keep the reputation than sell a deployment that does not fit.
How we work
Remote-first across the UK, with on-site work where it helps — training in your offices, board briefings in a room with the partnership, private AI architecture sessions with your IT lead. Everything else runs on encrypted transfer, a secure file store and a written data-processing agreement.
